NEDA JAAFARI
Neda Jaafari is a first-generation Iranian American abstract artist based in New York. Largely self-taught, she has been drawn to painting from an early age and later deepened her practice through studies at the University of North Texas. Her work explores identity, memory, and cross-cultural belonging.
Today, she works primarily with inks on canvas and synthetic paper, pushing the medium beyond traditional boundaries. Jaafari creates ethereal, layered compositions of fluid forms, textures, and subtle touches of gold. Her abstract practice reflects universal human emotions while remaining deeply rooted in personal experience, inviting viewers into spaces of reflection and resonance. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections across the United States, Europe, and the Middle East.
